Matt West, the Democratic runner for the same seat, has asked the Federal Election Commission to look into possible coordination between his campaign and a super PAC.
Super Pacs are organizations that can spend an unlimited amount of money to support or oppose political candidates. They are not allowed to coordinate directly with the candidate’s campaign. This means that Carrick Flynn could be working hand-in-hand with Sam Bankman-Fried to push his agenda in Congress.
This would be a huge problem for the people of Oregon’s Sixth District. Carrick Flynn would not be representing them, he would be representing the interests of a billionaire who lives in the Bahamas.
This new report from the Willamette Week caused many to look further into Carrick Flynn, the candidate. A new video making the rounds on Twitter seemingly shows that Flynn has not lived in Oregon since 2008 and only moved to Oregon, from England, in 2021 in order to run for Congress.
This is a huge red flag and should be a major concern for the people of Oregon’s Sixth District. They need to know if their candidate is truly representing them or if he is just a puppet for a billionaire’s agenda.
Carrick Flynn needs to answer these questions and he needs to do it soon. The people of Oregon deserve to know the truth about their candidate. They deserve to know if Carrick Flynn is working for them or for Sam Bankman-Fried.
Despite these revelations, Flynn has continued to run his campaign and has refused to drop out of the race. Bankman-Fried has also refused to comment on the situation.
Flynn’s background is shrouded in mystery. He has worked for organizations such as the Brookings Institute and has also made numerous trips to African nations in what he calls “economic development trips”. Flynn has not released his tax returns, which has only added to the speculation about his background.

His supporters include many high-profile individuals such as Bankman-Fried. Which raises the question of why any Oregonian should donate to Flynn’s campaign at all.
Bankman-Fried’s Super Pac is running so many ads for Flynn that many are starting to get annoyed by the ads. This has caused some to call for Bankman-Fried to pull his support for Flynn. Most likely Oregon residents can tell that Flynn is an outsider who is not the plaid wearing man they see on the commercials in real life.
If all of the internet speculation is true then Carrick Flynn could very well be The Manchurian Candidate and only running on behalf of Bankman-Fried.
The race in Oregon’s 6th District is a crowded one. Many Democrats are running. The winner of the primary will most likely go on to win the election in an area that has been blue for decades.
Carrick Flynn might be able to win the nomination and he might even win the election. But, if he is working for Sam Bankman-Fried, then Oregonians will be getting a congressperson who doesn’t have their best interests at heart. They’ll be getting a puppet who is only interested in pushing a billionaire’s agenda.
Transparency has been a problem with Flynn and his campaign is most likely attempting to remedy that however it is difficult since it appears his life before running for public office may have included some clandestine or covert operations in developing nations around the world.
Carrick Flynn needs to be honest with the people of Oregon’s Sixth District. He needs to tell them the truth about his background and he needs to tell them who he is really working for. Until he does, the speculation will continue to grow.

Many people say January 6, 2021 was an attack on our Democracy because they could visualize it. In cases such as this race in Oregon it is much harder to see but it is also an attack on our Democracy.
We cannot allow billionaires to buy our Congress. We need to demand transparency and we need to fight for our Democracy.
